File this under: fit girls shouldn’t do this.
And maybe also under: women with self-respect shouldn’t do this.
I’m going to White Castle on Valentine’s Day. If you aren’t already aware, White Castle on Valentine’s Day is kind of a thing. There are menus, waiters, decorations – even music.
I’ve been wanting to do this for at least five years. The only inconvenient fact that stood in my way was that my boyfriends were always normal people. And normal people tend to find the concept of taking their woman to the Castle on V-day a bit too trashy to bear.
But luckily, I now find myself single. Which means I get to have as many Crave Cases as it will take to muffle the sound of my tears.

A Few Concerns
- Meat? I don’t normally eat meat. So there is a decent chance that I’ll simply drop dead upon touching the rat-burger to my lips. On the other hand, can you really call White Castle “meat”? Maybe I’ll be OK after all.
- Calories. Fast food has calories. Scientists have shown that a case of 30 burgers can have up to thirty times more calories than just eating one single burger. God help me.
- Parental Concerns. When your 28 year old daughter is spending Valentine’s day crying and eating a literal suitcase filled with burgers, you have to start wondering what exactly went wrong. I really couldn’t tell you, Mom. I can only tell you that I’m gravely sorry.
And Now I Pose A Question
Do you watch your food intake on Valentine’s Day?
Are you strict at all? Slightly strict?
Do any of you sexy people just say “fuck it” and take the night off?
And while we’re on the subject, do any of you eat fast food occasionally?
TALK TO ME I’M SO LONELY!!
Much Love ❤
XOXO

sounds like fun, actually. I haven’t been to white castle, but ever since Harold and Kumar, I’ve always thought it must be very very cool there. Enjoy!

OH yes – I’m looking forward to it. I googled pictures of the event and it looks bizarre 🙂

My guilty pleasure is a Wendy’s Baconator with no bun (gluten allergy). The risk of cross contamination gets my adrenaline going. Fries are a given. Confession: Sometimes, they forget to put a plastic fork in my bag so I just break open the plastic box and bare-hand that bun-less mess.

I am a sucker for McDonald’s breakfast; it was the worst/best thing that ever happened to me when they started serving McMuffins 24 hours a day. Luckily it takes me a long and repentant six minutes to drive there so I have a lot of time to carefully consider my options.

I love fast food French fries, I really care less about the main dish, just give me the fries! On V-day I usually just eat chocolate so I have normal amounts of calories they just aren’t good ones lol

Fries aren’t toooo too bad if you just eat them occasionally and you get the small. Until you start dipping them in cheese mmmmmm…

Fast food once in a while is fine, don’t feel too guilty about it…salty and greasy is good for days feeling down : )

Oh god, I’m not sure where you are, but you kind of strike me as an NYC girl…
If that’s the case, do NOT go to the WC on 8th Ave. Please, trust me on this. Make the journey over to jersey. Closest one to the city (I think) is on Kennedy Blvd in Union City, just past the Lincoln tunnel.
Of course, if you’re not from around here, then nevermind. 🙂
Ps, I lol’d at “thirty times more calories than a single burger.” Nice.

Hahaha! You’re good 🙂 I am
But I’m headed to a White Castle in North Bergen (NJ). They take this very seriously, I had to make reservations 😛
Looking forward to the grossness 😀

I don’t watch my food intake on Valentine’s Day and I don’t feel guilty about it! I’m not preparing for any type of competition so I’m more of a flex eater and no longer feel guilty when I indulge.

When I went vegetarian I pretty much stopped eating fast food completely. Chipotle is the only fast food I eat…though judging how long I’m in there I wouldn’t call it fast! 😜

Serge and I are being very good this year and watching what we eat. We are going out to eat but we are being good…. I told him to do what he wants but I am not letting today throw me off track. He agreed. I am making a low carb cheese cake for dessert. The only thing he is allowing himself is a glass of wine and he’s having one snickers Chocolate heart.

LOL I love how he’s getting one snickers Chocolate heart.
This world is too hard. First the chocolate hearts, and next come Cadbury Caramel eggs 😥

He got so many hearts but he’s being a good boy!

Oh, and fast food… I haven’t had it in prob over 2 years. I actually don’t crave it anymore. What I really want is a hot brownie with ice cream.
